Harlan's Creek is a place with a documented above-average rate of unexplained livestock behaviour, two unresolved fog events, and at least one resident who has stopped acknowledging calendars entirely. It is the kind of town that does not need to try to be strange. The strangeness is structural. Residents have requested, on multiple recorded occasions, that this remain the case.
This tee carries the unofficial civic motto of Harlan's Creek, rendered in cut-and-torn newsprint-style block lettering across a black ground — the typographic equivalent of a note left under a door at 3am that somehow makes complete sense in the morning. The text reads KEEP HARLAN'S CREEK WEIRD, assembled from mismatched cream-coloured torn paper blocks in a bold serif typeface, with WTC and www.whatthecryptid.com positioned beneath a ruled line as institutional confirmation. It is not a request. It is a public record.

Available in sizes S through 5XL. Machine wash cold. Do not iron — the last person who applied direct heat to anything in Harlan's Creek was asked to leave by the fog, which is not supposed to be able to do that.

WTC reached out to the Harlan's Creek township council for comment. The email was returned undelivered. The phone rang for eleven minutes and then stopped, which is different from going to voicemail. A follow-up letter was sent. It arrived back in our postbox the following morning, already opened, with the word NOTED written inside in pencil that was not ours.
