The WTC Cryptid Database contains very few entries rated Extreme across all threat dimensions. It contains fewer still that are rated Extreme, globally distributed, and entirely indifferent to jurisdictional boundaries. This assessment concerns two of them.
Unknown Cosmic Entities and the Whore of Babylon share almost nothing in presentation, origin literature, or reported behaviour. What they share is scale — both are described in terms that make conventional field methodology feel slightly embarrassing to propose. We have proposed it anyway. This is our job.
The Whore of Babylon, by contrast, operates within history — she has a documented literary record, an olfactory profile, associated fauna, and a three-thousand-year pattern of institutional identification that, whatever its theological implications, constitutes genuine data. She remains unconfirmed, uncontacted, and apparently uninterested in the WTC’s 2019 outreach. But she is, at minimum, pursuable in principle. That is more than can be said for something that may be older than the observable universe and aware of you specifically.
