FLATHEAD COUNTY, MT — Seventeen agricultural sites in Flathead County are reporting coordinated alien folk dancing activity.
Farmer Hamish McLeod of Culloden Fields first suspected alien involvement when he noticed the crop circles were laid out in groups of eight, matching traditional Highland dancing formations. ‘The spacing did not match conventional landing patterns,’ McLeod told reporters. ‘But the formations matched traditional dance configurations for groups of approximately four-foot-tall participants.’

McLeod reportedly encountered seventeen extraterrestrial visitors at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday engaged in coordinated movement patterns in his barley field. According to his statement to the Department of Cryptid Affairs, the visitors paused their routine to approach him with what he described as ‘formal bowing gestures’ before resuming their formation.
‘Research Delegation Representative Zephyr-7’, confirmed their interest in local movement traditions in a statement Tuesday morning. ‘Our research indicates proper execution of documented movement patterns requires significant open space,’ the statement read.
DAMAGE ASSESSMENT
• Total affected farmland: 847 acres
• Estimated crop loss: $3.2 million
• Number of attempted dance formations: 142
• Successful Highland Flings: 3 (disputed)
Arthur Pritchard, Deputy Agricultural Liaison for Anomalous Events, confirmed that existing agricultural damage protocols do not cover the current situation. Pritchard confirmed that existing treaties do not specifically address damages incurred during alien folk dancing instruction.
⚠️
FIELD ALERT
Residents are advised that approaching active dance formations may result in inadvertent participation. The Highland Society has volunteered instructional services. Coordination remains pending interdepartmental review.
Dr. Amelia Cross, Regional Coordinator for Non-Standard Agricultural Incidents, observed that the entities possess four-limbed physiology and executed movements at irregular intervals compared to documented traditional sequences. She noted that their arm positioning during observed Highland Flings was ‘technically accurate but executed at inconsistent intervals.’

Flathead County officials have reportedly extended a formal invitation for the extraterrestrial delegation to attend proper instruction sessions. Attaché Zephyr-7’s response indicated scheduling conflicts with their current field research methodology. The agricultural damage assessment continues. A timeline for completion has not been provided. This is Hal Ridgeway. Authorities continue to urge caution.
